For many years now Amblegreen has focused on producing quality Jack Russell terriers, with emphasis on Health and Temperament. The year 1992 brought our first 'show quality' Jack Russell and there have been many special terriers since that time. In 2001, we welcomed a new breed with the arrival of our first Norwich Terrier. We require the same high standards for our Norwich as we did for our JRT's, and are dedicated to producing terriers which excel in many venues. In early 2005 we made the difficult decision to focus only on breeding quality Norwich. We remain committed though, to helping our Jack Russell puppy purchasers from the past, and may still be able to refer you to a reputable breeder. Our terriers are an integral part of our family, and are more than a hobby they are a way of life!! Litters are planned carefully and reservations are suggested. All our Norwich puppies go to approved homes with CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) limited registration. We have one or two litters each year, and puppies are raised in our home with lots of love and socialization. All of our terriers (one year and older) have been Cerf (eyes - annually) tested clear, and also have their patellas (knees) OFA as well. We x-ray ( OFA) hips too on our Norwich over 2 years of age. I am a member of the NNTC (Norwich & Norfolk Terrier Club) and I am a signatory of their Breeders Code of Ethics. I am also a member of the NTC of Great Britian, and both the NCNNTC (Nor-Cal Norwich & Norfolk Terrier Club) & the NWNNTC (North West Norfolk & Norwich Terrier Club). Amblegreen is located 40 minutes South of Vancouver, B.C. and only 5 minutes North of the Washington/B.C. Border. At this time of year we would like to make Special mention and Huge Thanks to our friends who have helped and supported us ... This year we had a number of friends offer to 'Norwich' sit well Geoff and I headed to Maui and we can't thank them enough!! This includes my Best Buddy Cyndy & Dave who cared for Barbie. Dianne and Al - and their 2 Norwich - for caring for Boo (glad we got her back !!!). Sandy and Andy Keller for their wonderful month long care of Kiwi over our Maui trip and also Montgomery!!! And we can't forget Nilda - Zara Norfolks - for her superb care of Flint and for taking us to the airport, and picking us up so early!! Remember we are ready to 'dog sit' whenever you need us!! We also want to say Thanks for many fun hours visiting and sharing bloodlines with Dianne and Ray (Ivey of Maralinga Norwich). You are both Wonderful and our visits are never long enough!!!
