Welcome to our site and we hope you enjoy learning more about our Norwich Terriers and us.

Happy Holidays to all our friends
and we wish you a Healthy Joyful 2012!

Cedric all dressed and ready for Santa...

"Kona" Amblegreen Top Notch and I had a wonderful time on our recent trip to Pennsylvania in early October.  We attended the Montgomery Terrier 'circuit' - four shows  - while we were there.  Kona was shown in a very large competitive Bred By class (not easy for a young puppy).  He did great picking up a 4th and two 2nd's in his class, plus Reserve Winners Dog at the Devon Dog Show.  He also won his Sweeps class at Montgomery... It was fun to have so many people get to see him especially the owner of his Dad - Lisa Sons!  This is such a great series of show with more Norwich then you will see anywhere!  Seeing old friends and catching up is the icing on the cake!!!  Special Thanks to Linda and Peter Dowdle for being such wonderful hosts!

At Kona's only Canadian show in 2011 we were pleased to debut him at Tradex - Lower Mainland Dog Fancier's Show (largest dog show in Canada).  Kona was handled by my dear friend Cyndy Monk and had a good weekend.  He picked up BOW on the Saturday and also a Best Puppy in Terrier Group.  On the Sunday he went BOB over Specials and is now half way to his Canadian Championship!

*If you have contacted us in the past to be on our puppy list please get in touch with us again if you are still interested ...  I'm currently updating my puppy list. Even if you have previously filled out one of our application forms it is important to stay in touch.*

Since the early 90's Amblegreen has focused on producing quality Terriers, with emphasis on Health and Temperament. In 2001, we welcomed a new breed with the arrival of our first Norwich Terrier.  We require the same high standards for our Norwich  as we did for our Jack Russell Terriers; and are dedicated to producing sound terriers both mentally and physically!

In early 2005 we  made the difficult decision to focus only on breeding quality Norwich.  We remain committed though, to helping our Jack Russell puppy purchasers from the past, and may still be able to refer you to a reputable breeder.

Our terriers are an integral part of our family, and are more than a hobby... they are a way of life!!  Litters are planned carefully and reservations are suggested.  All our Norwich  puppies go to approved homes with CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) limited registration.  We have one or two  litters each year, and puppies are raised in our home with lots of love and socialization.

All of our terriers (one year and older) have been Cerf (eyes - annually) tested clear, and also have their patellas (knees) & cardiac (heart) OFA'd as well.   We x-ray ( OFA)  hips too on our Norwich over 2 years of age. Once these health checks have been completed our Norwich receive a CHIC #'s - a data base which keeps track of health issues.   I am  a member of the Norwich Terrier Club of America,  and I am a signatory of their Breeders Code of Ethics.  I am also a member of the NTC of Great Britian,  and both the Norwich Terrier Club of Northern California  & the North West Norfolk & Norwich Terrier Club, and the B.C. All Terrier Club.

Amblegreen is located 40 minutes South of Vancouver, B.C. and only 5 minutes North of the Washington/B.C. Border. We welcome visitors at any time so please drop us an email or call Heather at 604-535-8876 to arrange a visit. If you require any additional information or referrals please let us know.
