Pecan, as she is called, was our first red Norwich Terrier.  Her registered name is also a character in the Anne Rice books.  Pecan has a wonderful attitude and loves to cuddle and play with everyone.  She does have that stubborn terrier streak and is a real show off.   

She started her show ring career Fall 2004 - going Best of Breed her first day shown. She finished her Canadian Championship at the  Lakes District Shows in Burns Lake - May 2005. We also drove all the way to Long Beach California to attend the Great Western Terrier Weekend - four days of showing which were wonderful...great weather, great vendors, and GREAT TERRIERS!!  Pecan went Best of Winners one of the day, Reserve Winners Bitch two of the days and won her class the final day.   At the 2005 All Terrier Club of Western Washington (Lacey) Pecan went Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite for a 5 point Major! 

Pecan also free whelped her first litter by Flint on November 4th, 2005.  We were so pleased with her pups, and thrilled to have a daughter 'Caper' to go on with.

Pecan is now sharing her life and home with fellow Norwich, Divot.  We are so pleased for her and her new family and wish them many years of love and happiness together...
